My travel partner and I were very pleased with the food, by far the best Chinese we have ever eaten.

When sitting at our booth near the window I noticed how disgusting the blinds were... Seems like they have never been dusted or washed as there was food, dust, and grim all over the blinds.. made our stomachs turn to the point where we had to turn the blinds up.. other than the flith of the blinds... by far amazing!

A favourite restaurant. Friendly, comfortable environment with very good service. We recently enjoyed Tempura as a starter followed by the CHEO Charity Dinner Menu 4 Course Meal. The atmosphere is relaxed with just the right time between serving items that arrive fresh, hot and tasty. My wife and I have been in Ottawa for 15 years. we have a short list of favourite places to eat. This is at the top of our list. The food is tasty and healthy (with great variety), the prices are amazing, the ambiance is peaceful, warm and friendly and the service is excellent. Most of all, though, the people are wonderful. I'm a university student who lives in the area, and my roommates and I discovered House of Greek last year. We were close enough to make use of the no tax when you pick up perk, which is great. Every once in a while we would order the sandwich party, sometimes with two people, sometimes with 6 (you save more money with more people). At the beginning of the school year last year the order was always perfect and the food was delicious. However, I'm a little disappointed because they stopped offering baklava in the sandwich party even though they still advertise it in the flyer. The last time I ordered there they completely messed up my order, giving me a chicken shawarma when I ordered a falafel pita. They fixed the order but made me come pick it up again. Point is though, the food here is absolutely delicious. It's a great take out restaurant!
