Lara and Rebecca have been collecting vintage clothing since they were teenagers. The clothes would accumulate until their closets were overflowing. "They were everywhere in the house. Then it just became natural for me to sell some to make room and buy more," says Lara. They first sold their clothes on specialized websites and in "pop-up shops", temporary boutiques that set up for a few weeks in an empty store front.
In 2011, with a long and rich history in vintage clothing behind them, and still driven by their passion, they found the perfect retail location to open Citizen Vintage at 5330 Saint-Laurent Blvd.
