A self-described free spirit, Sara Puppi has always been a creative soul. She trained in fashion and business, but her real style education came from working in the industry, she says: “I've been working in retail since I was 16 and at some point, I fell in love with the boutique environment.”
In 2009, Sara and a partner opened Poor Little Rich Girl, a women’s fashion boutique that specializes in fabulous dresses of all kinds. They found the ideal spot on Yonge Street, just south of Eglinton. Since the strip wasn’t saturated with stores, Poor Little Rich Girl could get all the attention it deserved.
“I grew up near this 'hood and, as a midtown girl, it just felt homey to me,” Sara says. The location was just right for a 940-square-foot space that houses racks of pretty dresses, casual clothes, and accessories like jewellery and shoes to complete any look.
Sometimes going out is all about finding the right dress. From sexy body-con numbers to fun and flirty sundresses, these Toronto boutiques carry stylish frocks at a variety of different price points.
