The food was great. The only problem was the mutton that was served on the buriyani had bones. Also my husband ordered mutton thali and that too had big bones giving no meet at all. I would hope that this could be changed. We have been to a lot of Indian Restaurants and this is the first that we had bones in the mutton. We plan on making another visit soon and will make note to the server. As my husband and i are not big fans of bones.... As for the food it was Delisious. Loved every single bite of it.
The Good: 1. Nice, clean, ethnic ambiance with Tamilian music 2. Great service 3. Tasty food (but a little too hot/spicy) The Not-So-Good: 1. Small portions with too much gravy and too little substance 2. A bit pricey for the portions
People dont understand that Indian cuisine from the north is way different from southerne India. First of all my sincere appreciation for opening up a authentic SouthIndian Restaurant in the GTA. I love their food and decor. but have to improve service. Mutton Sukka was delicious so was the chettinad chicken but the fich curry was so Good It took me back to India. they have to improve on the service though.very very good food
everything there was good ,the food was tasty and we were taken care by the manager and the staff very well.noting to complain.although the restaurant is a very busy place ,the service like most people complain in their reviews was not all that bad.it is an excellent place no doubt about it.
Went there with my friend around 7.45 pm. There were only three or four other tables filled at that point. We thought our order will be ready quickly. We were wrong. By the time our order came, it was over 40 minutes. Not sure what these guys do. I thought they were making the idly fresh. But that was not the case. They were cold. Not too soft, but not hard either. Acceptable. Anyway, the food was good, which saved the day. Service is slow like many others have pointed out. To get the bill took a while too. By the time we finished, it was 9.00. For two of us and having come early enough, the time taken was too long. Soon after we came, the restaurant got fairly crowded. In one table, saw some teens who probably waited so long that they literally started to sleep. Must have been very hungry. This place had decent food but slow service. The waiters are pleasant enough, but the kitchen is slow.
