Really good food! Super fast service when it's not busy. I had a long piece of hair in my food when I ordered pork the one day. Beware! But the soups are good! Kimchi is #1 in Ottawa! Most likely the best Korean restaurant in Ottawa.

Korean Comfort

For those who have yet to discover the spicy flavours of Korea or those familiar with Korean cuisine, I highly recommend this little gem just off Rideau Street for excellent value and as close to authentic as you can come here in Ottawa. You'll experience the Asian version of "soul food"- warm, filling and comforting - even down to the decor. As a former Canadian resident in Seoul, it's always a good sign when Korean expats are frequent diners.

The Gamjatang is the best in the city. I lived in Korea for two years and have been to every Korean resturant in this city many times over. The gamjatang is the best in the city in my opinion if you like your Korean stews deep, thick and spucy.
