The food isn't that great, but the place is really comfortable and relaxed. The service can get slow on busy nights, but otherwise it's great. I wouldn't recommend it for large parties though, it can get pretty crowded.

I love the food. The onnly draw back that I find is that there is always a lineup if you aren't there by 5pm (and they don't take reservations unless you have a big party size). But I love the food, especially the chicken parmasean and the salad!!

My wife and I tried the Upper James location and were simply not impressed. Service was terrible and it was at least 10 minutes of being sat down at our table before we got a waitress although I must say the food came quite promptly after ordering. I ordered a pasta dish that should have been classified as an apitizer. Overall, service was poor, atmosphere was extremely poor and prices way out of line for the small portions served.
This is the 3rd time Ive been to this location-and I have to say its the worst one yet!! The salad was dry-there were no crutons in the cesar salad-they screwed up on a couple orders we had and every time I order pasta from this location is always dry! The time before I went the soup was just gross-very watery different broth then they used previous times-when I asked the waitress about this she said we didnt change the soup but we do agree somehtings wrong with it but still continued to serve it!
