All you gotta do is go and try this place then you'll see why it's a hidden gem!!! Great food but hidden in Guelph in a small plaza, if you are into Mexican food you will love it, I love this type of cuisine and after trying many other places I can say this one is authentic and we'll come back again, I'm glad we finally have a real Mexican place in town.
I love Mexican food, me and my friends found such a great place kind of hidden in Guelph , once we got our table it started to smell so nice, it is definitely authentic as we found options in their menu hard to find in other "Mexican" places. Great service and family atmosphere. Really good option for vegetarians and gluten free!!
Very nice folks running this place but the food was disappointing. The menu's titles are "authentic" but that's where authentic ends. We ordered salsa, guac, and chips. What came to the table was an assortment of jarred and bottled product. We asked if they made it here hoping they jar it themselves but the answer I feared was "no". Oh no; all you do is mexican and you can't even make fresh salsa and guacamole? On the bright side the chips that came with the bagged guac were homemade in the fryer. The chips with the jarred salsa however were from a bag. No need to review any further, if you can't do salsa and guac right, you know the rest will be a big let down, and it was.
Wow, I have been wanting to visit this place for a while and I am so glad I did! We have needed a truely Mexican restaurant in Guelph for sometime, and we finally have it! Love the Tamales, and the beans! The cactus salad was exotic. Service was excellent the first time we went, a little slower the second time (they were very busy), but very friendly!
A great place for REAL Mexican food. Small but clean, and the service is extremely friendly. The food was all fresh and homemade, right down to the chips served with the guacamole. Lots of new and interesting things to try! We left satisfied after having one appetizer that we shared and one "specialty" plate each...and we will definitely be returning.
