Sauce was sweet, sugary, and a little watery. But,overall - this placewas OK. Place was too busy. They should think of expanding. Service was kind of rushed due to the volume of people waiting. The prices were good.
Good prices and ample portions. When you leave you leave full! Very tasty tomato sauce and pizza's are great.
i had a great time. i just wish they took reservations! so i can bring all my friends there to try it.
I could have cooked this meal myself in 5 minutes and I am not a good cook! The food was very plain and mediocre. No flair. The restaurant had a lot of little kids and was much more casual than I expected. I wouldn't go again.
Have been many times over the years - a local, cheap, Etobicoke Italian family-run restaurant. But, approx, 50% of the time, you could well end up being (what is called thoughout S. Etobicoke) "Martinoed". The food usually is filling & tastes fine at the time, but 15-30 minutes later, WATCH OUT!, the room temperature rises, your stomach starts to rumble, & you have to race like a sprinter to the (often occupied) downstairs washroom. We suspect the oil is the cause. OK for dining w. close friends who know the dangers, but be cautious if it's date night! You may be racing home (if you make it) much much sooner than you had planned!
Think your friends might be familiar with this business? Ask your friends on Facebook to see what they think.
Doggy bags are the rule at this Italian-loving Etobicoke staple. Here, all entrees are served with both a salad and a spaghetti side, and all pasta dishes come with bread. They needn’t have bothered, given the heaping servings of all the mains. Better still, the price is not reflective of the size of your dinner.
