Since 1990 we have been entertaining locals and tourists alike with some of the very best seafood in the lower mainland in a relaxing, casual and fun waterfront setting. Soak up the sun or sit under a cool umbrella on one of our two large patios that face the sun all day. On bad weather days, the view is still great through our picture windows facing the fishing boats and the fireplace is always on. Our food is prepared from the freshest ingredients. The Shady Island Seafood Bar & Grill is absolutely amazing! It is a must goto place for amazing fresh seafood! Try their hot seafood CEASER salad and chowder! Wow! The very best meal I’ve had in years! All their food is amazing but my personal favourite is the seafood!

slow and damp

Not only did it take over an hour to get our group's food, but our waitress never came back once to check on us to tell us it was going to be a while or anything. She felt we should expect bad service if we are in such a touristy hole. By the time our food got to our table, it was cold, somethings were over cooked, some under. The excuse from the assistant manager ( who was rude and had a dirty shirt on) was that it was the kitchen persons fault. The manager told us he'd take care of our bill and only ended up taking the appi we had off the bill. So pretty much their service and food and managment were horrible!!! i would not recomend it, in fact we stook outside the restaurant after telling people not to go in! To make matters worse the clienetel looked old and haggard tired. I guess the pretty ones are in Vancouver
