Lando Auctions was established in 2003 and it is Edmonton's only fine art auction house. It holds its sales at the Lando Gallery which is located in the heart of the Gallery District on 124 Street in Edmonton.
Since 2003, the Lando Gallery has developed an enviable reputation in Edmonton’s artistic circles. It has become the largest commercial gallery in the city, providing an auction facility to the community and a visibility to established Canadian artists.
"Ironically, lots of our artists had an established career before becoming full-time creators," notes the gallery’s founder, Brent Luebke. "We've got engineers, teachers, business people, but their passion was always fine art. What it usually means is that their personal life is sorted out and they can fully dedicate themselves to creating."
The wide range of fine arts and crafts at LandoGallery covers many different contemporary styles and serves individual, corporate and institutional clients.
This is the biggest commercial art gallery in the city, with art from Canadian and international artists in every contemporary medium – painting, sculpture, print making, photography, drawing and mixed media. They represent artists such as Jana Milne, Adele Knowler and Roger Colson.
