Feast your eyes on this! The CNE is back for another season, complete with all the weird and wonderful fair foods being cooked up in the Food Building and Midway. You can try deep-friend chicken feet, charcoal funnel cake, mega sandwiches and much, much more. Toronto favourites are on site serving up special dishes made specifically for The Ex like Bacon Nation, Buster's Sea Cove, Hot Bunzz and Fran's - you'll want to try these tasty treats while you can! From food truck fare to over-the-top street food, there's enough deep fried and bacon topped morsels for everyone in 2017!
The CNE runs August 18 to September 4. See you in the Food Building!

CNE staple Bacon Nations has done it again this year with the All-Canadian Red Hot Burger. Beef burger, bacon (natch) and a fried egg is topped with a bright red bun. The flaming colour comes from the Frank's Red Hot sauce baked directly into the bun!

Bacon Nation's second offering is the Pancake Bacon Tacos. Buttermilk pancakes are stuffed with fried and scrambled egg, tomato, green pepper, onion and maple bacon strips. The whole concoction is drizzled with chipotle syrup.

One of the more outrageous eats this year, the deep fried chicken feet has everyone buzzing this year. Are you brave enough to try one? Coco Concessions is located on the Midway.

One of Toronto's favourite food trucks is serving up some serious street eats at the CNE this year. Fidel Gastros has created the Crab Mac burger, a take on the Big Mac, with crab cakes instead of beef.

There are five ways to get jiggy with piggy at Hot Bunzz this year. Packed inside this portable bun is pork five ways: slow roasted five-spice pork belly, slow roasted pulled pork, sweet longanisa sausage, crispy pork skin and a Shanghai pork soupy dumpling. The whole thing is topped with Okonomiyaki sauce, Japanese mayo and a honey apple slaw.

Now this is a sandwich! The sammy is stacked with breaded veal and a pulled pork panzerotti, topped with sweet BBQ sauce, creamy slaw and jalapenos. The whole thing is garnished with two deep fried brownies for dessert!

Cheese lovers unite! The popular Farm to Fryer food stall has packed macaroni and cheese curds into a burrito shell and deep fried it. The result is ooey gooey cheesy goodness!

Everyone's favourite nacho chip gets the CNE treatment this year at Farm to Fryer. Marble cheddar is coated in a Dorito crust and then, you guessed it, deep fried.

The creative minds behind Eative have come up with a dessert fit for Game of Thrones fans! The crepe is dipped in liquid nitrogen and when eaten produces a fog-like gas that diners can blow through their nose and mouth.

Modeled after the CN Tower, this towering dessert features a brownie topped with a scoop of cheesecake and a sugar cone dipped in white chocolate, a confetti doughnut, cotton candy and powdered sugar. You can grab one of these desserts in the Food Building.
