You get the feeling that this restaurant might be good judging by the line-up of people waiting for a table. We went on warm weekend evening so did have to wait to get a spot on the patio, but it was worth it. The service was excellent despite the restaurant being so busy. The food was amazing and the value was unexpected - Order a one-piece dinner and you get 2 pieces of fish, order 2 pieces and you get 3, etc. Don't let the line-up deter you, this place is great. Hey Oceansider (see below), the wait person should not have told your kids to get their hands off the windows. That should be your job. Why should they have to clean your kid's sticky handprints off the windows? I really can't understand why people will give a restaurant a bad rating because they can't control their children. We go to Yorkys regularly and we find it a great chip shop! The fish and chips are as good as any we get in Wales!!! The paper wrap and the vinegar and salt splash make it authentic. If you fancy a good filling meal, this is definitely a place to visit....very reasonably priced. Read more
