i need to have my jerk fix at least once a week and this is the best spot in Mississauga - trust me i've tried everything. don't expect the best service or atmosphere - that's not because they are rude or not nice, just seems like a lot of people are going in and out. Also, a few times they've mixed up my order, so make sure they get it exactly right. I've also noticed a few times they over salted, but that's a few times in the many many times i've been there. We went to Caz's because we heard they were the best. I have to say we were not disapponited. The portions were hugh, service was as good as fine dining. I recently visited this restaurant and the quality of food was amazing. I I tried two popular dishes, a crispy chicken zinger and spicy fish. The food was FANTASTIC. Very fresh, well prepared food and the sauces complimented the food perfectly. There are a couple of different types of fish, and for those who don't enjoy fish there are also shawarmas and burgers. I went on Dec. 3rd for their brunch buffet. I had a great experience here for my first time. The food options were decent for a buffet, and it really hit the spot. The service, and atmosphere were great. Friendly, and helpful servers with a clean restaurant. It had a nice family atmosphere with all the Christmas get togethers they had. I came to this restaurant for my father's birthday and the food was incredible. It is an authetic portuguese restaurant on James street in Hamilton. For an appetizer we had the Bruchetta, which is baked pizza style bread topped with tomato, onion and garlic. Yumm! For the dish I ate the Filete com arroz, which is fish filete with seafood rice. The dish cost $17 but was really cheap considering the amount of food that was provided. I will definetely return to this restaurant and recommend anyone to try this place. They have a large menu with many options. If you havent tried portuguese food or just love the food, you wont be disappointed at the Wild Orchid. Read more

We ordered the Lemon Chicken, a Lo Mein dish and a mixed rice dish. The restaurant was very clean and had a comfortable atmosphere, able to accommodate fairly big groups actually (5-6 ppl/table). Food was served within minutes - big portions considering the low prices. We visited the restaurant in the evening when it was less busy; the lady serving was nice, asking a few times if we had everything we needed. Low prices, good food... definitely worth another visit. I go here fairly regularly because this place does it up right. It's not a huge place and gets packed fairly easily, so there have been times when I simply haven't gotten in, but you snooze you lose. It is in an old victorian style home, taking up both floors. Downstairs seats a few tables and the main bar, while upstairs hosts a more casual atmosphere of games, chairs, etc....like you are in someones home. Decor is eclectic and funky, provides a nice touch to the visit. Service is always good to above average, the staff are trained well, know their beers well enough, and are always smiling. I've eaten here too many times to mention, but the wings are great, as is the cajun catfish sandwich. The wings are a great portion and the sauces are excellent. The catfish sandwich is spicy,savoury, very flavourful, well portioned, and well priced. I like that they have Boneshaker on tap on a regular basis. In fact, they only serve craft beer which speaks to the quality of the establishment. Clientele is a mix of somewhat obnoxious college hipsters and hippies that think they are re-living Woodstock for some reason, but I don't have to like them to like the place. Keep up the great work!
