Seriously, best restaurant i have been to! Donatello on Elm in Toronto - the service was sooo good - made very special by our knowlwedgable server! The food - sublime! I highly recommend it! i visited this restaurant for the first time with my friends. i had a salad and it was delicious. The t-bone steak that came with a red wine sauce was amazing. I asked for a medium rare steak and it was cooked perfectly to what i wanted. lastly i had desert, i had white chocolate lava cake which was mouth watering. we are planning to visit the restaurant again, plus the service was on time and friendly. Fabulous food! I have walked by on several occasions and was certainly not disappointed when finally trying their place. You can tell the food is made from scratch and with skill. The real buffalo mozzarella in the caprese is a nice change and the lamb was cooked perfectly. Ambiance was nice and relaxed, not overly noisy. Waiters are very nice and attentive. Wine list is impressive. Biagio himself was nice enough to introduce himself at our table; A very pleasant surprise. Apparently they have monthly wine tasting events too. We will definitely return.
