We loved it. We've stopped in several times. There's a nice selection and the food is fabulous. I love the Caesar Salad -- they even do takeout. A great selection of coffee and delightful desserts. I think most of the staff is family so they put their hearts into it and it shows. Service is speedy and friendly. It's not a designer establishment but it's very clean and welcoming. Read more

I stop here ocasionaly when I take my bike following the hydro-line bicycle path. Every time I do stop here, I don't regret it at all!! The food is great, the servers are very patient and the atmosphere has a very compfortable local feel. I suggest ordering the McWindmill when you go there. Read more

Had the Jacs sub for dinner last night. The Jalapeno cheese bread is Fantastic, there was lots of meat and tasted very fresh. Toppings and sauces were all free and they have a grill which I prefer over just toasting. Great staff and the new owner is very friendly. Will be back again to try the shack. Read more

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and took a chance trying this restaurant for the first time. We were pleasantly suprised and absoloutely loved the experience. We ordered the Peppercorn Shrimp appetizer and the Roesti with Smolked Salmon. Delicious and plenty to share. We then ordered the Shrimp Pasta and the Hunter Schnitzel. The food is really outstanding!! best schnitzel I've ever had!! Super value. The service was extremely professional and very attentive and pleasant. At the end we ordered the Creme Brule and what an excellent finishing touch to a great meal. The ambiance in the restaurant is very inviting and romantic. I am so happy that we have found a new favourite restaurant that we love!! Read more

We go there every year. Service is always great. Food is always good too. The chili on the hotdogs were nice & spicy. The fries were just right. It does get a little busy, sometimes you don't always get a seat inside and they don't have debit, cash only. But still, it's a landmark and we'll always continue to go back. Read more
