The Thai Islamic Noodles - stir-fried noodles, heaped with veg, shrimp, chicken and panang curry - were once a special at the old location, but are now available if you’re in the know.
This Junction cheese-centric spot offers four items on their hidden menu including the Cocka-Doodle-Moo Mac'N'Cheese ($11.25) with roast chicken, candied bacon, caramelized onions, leeks, hickory sticks, and Emmental.
If you’re a regular at New Sky, this one might just blow your mind. There’s a Spanish menu available on the down-low called "Chifa" that offers Peruvian and Chinese items such as Carne Con Pina, Chuleta Salsa Kentou and “Delicias de Mar.” Going out for Chinese takes on a whole new excitement.
Pinchos or pintxos are bite-sized snacks that are enjoyed in tabernas (bars) in Spain over drinks with friends and family. Fun and festive, pinchos are an addictive way to enjoy happy hour. And while you’ll never see them on the menu at Barsa Taberna, they’re available Monday to Thursday, 4:30-6:30pm - you just have to ask. The ingredients are inspired by the season and are selected from The St. Lawrence Market, just across the street.
