The Ukrainian National Federation was founded in Edmonton, Alberta, on Sunday, July 17, 1932, by members of the Ukrainian Nationalist movement of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN-A. Melnik), who's influences and vision remain a vital part of the organization to this day. In the first four years, 50 Branches were established across Canada.
