From the warm greeting on arrival to the sated goodbye, it was perfect! Gratis Champaigne set the night in motion as our pallets were sent on a once in a life time adventure of exquisite new tastes for our favourite foods, thanks to all =)
Although the food was stellar, the service was so off putting that we just could not wait to finish and leave. When we first went in, our server's behaviour was so "over the top" that we thought he was having us on, till another couple came in, and they received the same gushy bizarre service. He is just so into overkill of all syllables, and hand waving, etc. Spoiled our special night out.

This is the kind of high end restaurant where you must order the starter or you will go hungry. We had the Foie gras starter ( ~ $20 ). It was nice but I found mine a bit too sweet for me (I have no sweet tooth) and a little cold in the middle. My wife enjoyed hers. My wife had the duck breast ( $28 ) and I the Lunenburg Scallops ( $29 ). Portion size is underwhelming. All though the food was good, it was not excellent, which at these prices it should be. Tiny tasters were offered between courses, with the last not enough for two people.
For a $150 plus night out, we left the restaurant feeling like we spent $75 too much.
