Provence has adapted their famous antipasto menu into a picnic experience that you can take with you. Enjoy piquillo peppers, Merguez sausages, and pissaladière in your basket, as well as fruit, dessert, drinks and a fresh baguette. Their online ordering system is easy to use and helps you customize your experience. Provence’s picnics also come with an optional picnic kit. For a small deposit, they’ll give you a wicker basket or backpack, plates, cutlery and glasses to take on your journey. As long as you return it within 24 hours, you won’t have to pay for the extra supplies.
Jean Francis and Alessandra Quaglia, both chefs, met in France while brushing shoulders in the kitchen of several hotels. Romance and marriage followed soon after. They worked together again in Vancouver at the Wall Center Hotel. In December 1997, they bravely embarked upon a project called Provence Mediterranean Grill. With it's cozy neighbourhood feel, this Point Grey restaurant enjoys enormous success, with a loyal local following.
